Lac La Biche's premiere community event has loads of fun things to see and do. There's something for everyone including a midway, Family Fun Friday, fish derby (2010 information here)(*NB limit 300, based on first-come, first-serve fully-paid-up basis. Call 780-623-2818 or 780-623-9311 to enter), ball tournaments, triathlon (information here), parade, cultural displays and performances and socials, not to mention a great amusement park to be enjoyed by all!
The event starts off in the morning of Friday, July 30, with a parade right down mainstreet, featuring floats made by all the businesses our town has to offer. Each float may choose to throw candy for the young ones to pick up. Then things start heating up when the amusement grounds open around noon. There are rides, games, short sideshows, carnival food stands, and much more!
This is a great way to get your family out to have som fun in the sun, and enjoy some candy apples while you're at it. For more information, check out the full 2010 Pow Wow Schedule.
